SAP S/4HANA in brief
SAP S/4HANA is SAP's current ERP suite, running only on the in-memory SAP HANA database. Compared with the older SAP ECC, it simplifies finance into a single Universal Journal (table ACDOCA), replaces customer and vendor masters with Business Partners, and uses Fiori apps as the main user interface. It is available on-premise, as private cloud (RISE with SAP) and as public cloud. SAP's mainstream maintenance for ECC 6.0 ends in 2027, which is why many Indian companies are migrating now. Our courses teach S/4HANA, and we point out the ECC differences you'll meet on older projects.

SAP certification: what we cover and what SAP issues
Official SAP certification is issued only by SAP, through the SAP Learning Hub and SAP's certification exams. Taking the exam is optional. If you choose to, you pay the exam fee yourself, directly to SAP; it is not part of the ₹40,356 training fee. Our courses cover the topics in the relevant SAP associate exams (for example, S/4HANA Financial Accounting, Sourcing and Procurement, and Sales) and include practice questions. When you finish, SoftPro9 issues a course completion certificate. This is not an SAP certification, and we won't describe it as one.
What to check before choosing an SAP institute in Bangalore
Hands-on system access
Ask whether you'll get your own login to an S/4HANA system, whether access is limited to class hours, and whether it's S/4HANA or old ECC. (Ours is S/4HANA, available 24/7/365.)
Trainer credentials you can check
Ask who will teach you, and ask about their real project experience in the module they teach. A good institute lets you meet the trainer before you pay.
Honesty about certification
Be wary of any institute that calls its own certificate "SAP certified" or "SAP global certification" without the SAP exam.
Fees in writing
Get the total in writing: the course fee, the exam fee (if any), system access charges and the refund policy.
Batch size and timetable
Check the maximum batch size, the class hours per week and what happens if you miss a session. (Our batches are capped at 15 learners.)
Placement promises
"100% placement" or "guaranteed job" claims deserve scrutiny. Ask what placement support actually includes and to speak with recent learners in your module.

Not included: SAP exam fee (optional, paid to SAP)
2. SAP international certification exam: not included, and optional. The ₹40,356 does not cover it. If you choose to take SAP's official certification exam, you pay SAP's exam fee yourself, directly to SAP. Our training prepares you for the exam, but you don't need to take it to complete the course.

Which SAP module is best for freshers?
Pick the module that matches your degree: FICO for commerce, MM or PP for engineering, SD for sales or marketing, HCM for HR and ABAP for computer science. Your background matters more than which module is "trending".
Is the SoftPro9 certificate an SAP certification?
No. We issue a course completion certificate. Official SAP certification comes only from passing SAP's own exam, which our course prepares you for.

Do I need prior experience?
No for entry-level batches. Domain experience in finance, purchasing, sales, HR or production helps a lot when job hunting.
Should I learn MM before Ariba or EWM?
Yes, we recommend it. Both build on MM procurement and inventory concepts.
Is S/4HANA different from SAP ECC?
