Energy and engineering companies in Qatar use Python for data processing, automation and engineering calculations. The course is split into three levels. You can join at the level that matches your experience after a short assessment at counselling.

Python is a general-purpose programming language known for readable syntax and a very large standard library. The same language runs web back ends (Django, Flask, FastAPI), data and machine-learning work (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch), automation scripts, test frameworks and cloud tooling, which is why it is usually the first language employers ask about outside front-end roles.
We teach Python 3.13 and modern practice: virtual environments, type hints, pytest, Ruff for linting and pyproject-based packaging. Where older code you will meet at work still uses Python 2 habits or outdated libraries, we point out the difference.
Qatar's economy is anchored by energy, with large national companies and contractors around Ras Laffan and Mesaieed, alongside aviation, banking, construction and a government-led digital transformation agenda. Lusail and West Bay host many corporate offices, and Qatar Science & Technology Park supports research and startups.

There is no single official "Python certificate". The Python Institute (OpenEDG) runs the PCEP (entry) and PCAP (associate) exams, which are optional and paid directly to the Python Institute; our course covers their syllabus and includes practice questions. SoftPro9 issues a course completion certificate. For hiring, a GitHub profile with tested projects usually counts for more than any certificate.
A 2026 syllabus: look for Pydantic, pandas, openpyxl, Playwright, not only the basics.
